Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

This position supports the company’s marketing and Business Development activities. The successful candidate will be positive, high energy, self-directed, honest, focused, organized, flexible and detail-oriented.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with managers to follow up on specific target customers, organize meetings with customers and managers.
• Lead the development and preparation of RFP’s, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations
• Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format
• Solicit customer feedback through the project proposal and execution phases
• Keep in contact with target customers on a regular basis and mine for new opportunities.
• Report regularly on the status of meetings.
• Develop, maintain and upgrade marketing materials (company brochures, award submissions, presentations, proposals, social media, etc.)
• Maintain marketing database, proposal log and archives of firm-related articles and activities.
• Develop, maintain and implement Business Development/ client marketing and distribution lists.
• Handle outside requests of a general promotional nature from clients, consultants, etc.
• Serve as the main information resource for the staff to gather and follow-up on provided leads.
• Keep staff informed of marketing techniques for use in presentations, critique presentations.
• Coordinate company participation at exhibits, tradeshows, conferences or on-site and off-site client functions.

Qualifications:

• Marketing and graphic design experience is required. Experience with engineering, construction or real estate industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to market to existing and potential clients in order to generate new business
• Some travel required.

Experience

• 3+ years Marketing and/or Business Development Experience

Education

• B.S. Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field
