Gateway Rehab Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator who plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and promotion of Gateway’s mission, services, and messages.
Our Coordinator is responsible for engaging Gateway Rehab in its community through community-facing events, partnerships, and approved strategies. You will also help to support overall brand awareness, hosted events, marketing initiatives and other community-centered relations.
This position receives regular supervision from the Vice President of Development and Community Relations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the marketing team to create comprehensive marketing initiatives that align with organizational strategies and goals.
- Assists in the production of engaging content for various channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Organizes and coordinates promotional activities.
- Builds and maintains relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to generate positive media coverage.
- Conducts independent market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Ensures consistent branding across all communication channels and materials.
- Plans and executes email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with the audience.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Coordinates speaking engagements and participation in events promoting the organization’s mission.
- Creates and delivers visual presentations for relevant community meetings and other activities.
- Assists with and attends as support staff for organization-hosted events.
- Travels on an as-needed basis.
- Maintains accurate records for travel, appointments, and expenditures.
- Documents in detail community relations activity monthly.
- Attends mandatory Gateway training and in-services.
- Attends and participates in department meetings.
- Represents GRC at assigned community events/conferences to promote the organization’s system of services.
- Attends outside training/conferences as deemed necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills for creating effective marketing materials and conveying messages to various audiences.
- Possess effective public speaking ability.
- Ability to think creatively and propose innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Proactive approach to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough attention to detail, especially in proofreading and editing marketing materials.
- Computer literacy required: Microsoft Office and OneDrive, Canva, Email Marketing, Social Media Platforms; Experience with Adobe products a plus.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and email marketing.
- Ability to maintain efficiency working from home.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, or related field.
- Healthcare and/or behavioral health field experience a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a favorable driving record.
- Must carry adequate personal automobile insurance.
- Pass a PA Criminal Background Check
- Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances.
- Pass a Drug Screen
- TB Test
Work Conditions
- Primarily homebased, with occasional requirements to report to the office (Center Twp.)
- Physical demands include but are not limited to travel on regular basis and flexible scheduling with some evening and weekend hours.
