Continental Properties is looking for a Market Research Coordinatorto join our team at our home office in Menomonee Falls, WI.
This position works closely with the multifamily development teams to facilitate a wide variety of activities associated with commercial real estate Market Research. The position will have the opportunity to use industry-leading research tools to evaluate markets and sites for new development projects throughout the United States. You will report to our Market Research Manager.
We are embracing a hybrid working environment and you can work both in the office and from home but will need to be available to work out of the office 3 days per week. #LI-Hybrid
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide research, support, and data that enables the Market Research team to share data driven insights and influence business decisions
- Collaborate with development teams to research and evaluate multifamily development opportunities
- Contribute to the Market Research team’s understanding of multifamily development project risk and rationale
- Identify competitive properties, verify market position, and ensure data accuracy / reliability using third party data, internet research, and direct communication with properties
- Help identify, track, and understand multifamily development supply pipeline using third-party reports, media reports, municipal websites and meeting minutes, and directly contacting municipal officials as needed
- Improve research processes and tools to achieve better outcomes with less effort
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Business, Planning or related field
- One to two years of related experience; Microsoft Excel experience is required. GIS experience is not required, but is desired.
