Market Research Associate

Research Associates at Mastio & Company conduct interviews by phone with key decision-makers at companies in North America in the logistics, plastics, and energy sectors. The goal is to capture feedback on their satisfaction with the various companies that they do business with.

Work Location:

• This is a remote/work from home position.
• The ideal candidate will be located in or within reasonable driving distance from The Woodlands.
• Training will be in-person in The Woodlands.

Hours:

Office hours are 7am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-3pm on Friday.

NO evenings, NO weekends.

Full-time employees work 40 hours per week; shifts start at 7am or 8am M-F.

A day in the life of a Research Associate can look like…

Calling prospective contacts to gain insight into their respective industry.

• Interviews are completed on the spot and by appointment.
• Skills required are active listening and probing for additional information and clarification of responses to provide actionable insights to clients.
• Maintain quality interviews from one respondent to the next.
• Confirm and update contact information.

Management of multiple leads.

• Awareness of the company and type of person to contact and pursuing alternate contacts or phone numbers as needed.
• Working on multiple projects at a given time.
• Time management; from awareness of time zones, internal schedules, to appointments.
• Assessment and problem-solving abilities to bring about results.

Data entry and live entry of completed interviews.

Track and file completed interviews.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Motivated self-starter and goal oriented.
• Good communicator, with a clear and articulate voice.
• Must be able to use basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook email, and the internet.
• Typing Skills - Must be able to type responses into the computer in real time.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Phone experience is helpful but not required.
• A college degree is preferred, but not a must.

Job Type:

• Full-time
• 8-hour day shifts, no nights
• Monday to Friday, no weekends

Salary:

• From $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
