Job description

Job Description:

A critical priority for Asset Wealth Management (AWM) is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients' needs. The Chief Data Office Market Data Vendor Management team is responsible for governing global Asset Wealth Management Market Data licenses by implementing formal processes to collect, control, and review all Market Data requests whilst opportunistically driving the Market Data consumption strategy and create cost efficiencies.

Given the increased priority and demand for supporting regulatory and compliance initiatives, it is essential for the Market Data Vendor Manager, Executive Director to collaborate within and outside Asset Wealth Management, given the inter-relationship among various Lines of Businesses within JPM as well as Vendor Management partnering teams including Market Data Sourcing, Third-Party Oversight, Legal, Compliance, Market Data Services, and Finance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technology on the development and implementation of Market Data entitlements to collect and monitor metrics related to data consumption and contract adherence

  • Provide support for tracking and attesting to contract adherence and maintaining contract information in the license repository authoritative source, storing general contract metadata, specific contract terms and conditions, and impact of contracts on AWM business usage
  • Gather and organize data to produce metrics and reporting related to Market Data consumption
  • Provide support for analyzing, defining, and implementing standard cost and allocation models
  • Define the agenda and manage meeting materials and follow ups for important meetings with the business, technology, operations, and other key stakeholders
  • Aid with the delivery of financial efficiency for the firm
