The Position
The US Women's Health Business Unit is focused on bringing products to millions of women in communities all over the country. We're commercial stewards (marketing, product experience, sales, access) driving growth of Organon's newest products in the largest market with the ability to scale in support of go-to-markets for an emerging Business Development portfolio.
The Associate Director, Customer Channel Access Payer Strategy will be an emerging commercial leader, who is responsible for developing Channel and Access strategies designed to support growth of Organon's three latest products. This position will report to the Executive Director, Customer Channel Access, US Women's Health.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic access optimization across the Women's Health portfolio, inclusive of payer and contracting pull-through.
- Support price, discounting, and contracting strategy designed to optimize Gross to Net and top-line performance.
- Collaborate with Market Access and Account Management to support the Business Unit's channel and procurement priorities, including distributor, retail, and HUB maintenance and optimization.
- Support the franchise on short-and long-term strategies, including financial performance and LROP (long-range operating plan).
- Support management of payer marketing promotional budget to optimize investments and impact across Customer Channel Access priorities.
- Identify and integrate new and emerging access capabilities (e.g., virtual care, alternative sites of care, modernize AOB claims/process), where appropriate.
- Maintain understanding of customer needs and journeys to ensure integrated customer activation plans.
- Leverage trends, insights, and advanced analytics to enable the development and execution of promotional campaigns.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and collaborate with internal partnerships, external agency partners and third-party vendors to ensure all promotional activities meet the strategic priorities of the brand.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the development of content, design, Promotion Review Team (PRT) approvals, and production.
- Manage internal and external agency resources, including budget phasing, accruals, and contracts.
- Support Business Development by providing access and pricing analytics as needed to select projects.
- Lead all Market Access training initiatives.
- Lead efforts to explore alternative insertion sites for our birth control product.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five plus years of experience in access, pricing, marketing, sales/marketing support.
- Strategic and innovative thinker.
- Test and learn mindset to drive culture of innovation.
- Experience with application of analytics; data-driven thinker and ability to utilize insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen, leadership skills, and ability to collaborate within the team and cross-functionally.
- Strategic and Tactical Planning skills.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
- MBA or equivalent.
- Promotion experience including bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review.
- 2+ years of marketing or access experience in Women's Health or pharmaceutical industry.
Position will be based in Plymouth Meeting, PA with an on-site expectation. Flexible work arrangements will be considered. Travel: 10%
