MUST HAVE MARINE RELATED EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on boats, yachts, and other watercraft
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify and resolve problems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of marine equipment
- Assemble, install, troubleshoot and test new components or systems
- Service technician for marine engines, propulsion systems, and navigation equipment
- Rigging and installation of various marine accessories
- Perform other tasks as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of marine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
- Familiarity with boat maintenance procedures and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance techniques specific to marine vehicles
- Experience assembly of marine equipment of various manufacturers
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
