osition Responsibilities:
- Building technical data packages for use by suppliers
- Developing and implementing manufacturing plans
- Resolving technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule
- Analyzing design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements
- Creating installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio
- Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects and work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, if required.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
100% onsite:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (San Antonio, TX).
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
The position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· Associate’s degree or years related work experience, or equivalent combination.
· 5years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
· 5 year manufacturing support.
· 5 or more years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
· 5 or more years of experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
· CATIA experience preferred
· 5 years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Typical Education & Experience:
· Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
