Manufacturing Engineer - Injection Molding

Responsibilities:
- Participate in new project quotations and reviews.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot equipment and machinery related to Injection Molding including thermolators, dryers, blenders, bold transducers, etc.
- Collaborate with engineering team to establish specifications and implement company standards.
- Determine energy connections and mold-press interfaces based on standards and specific requirements.
- Contract suppliers, analyze proposed quotes and solutions, manage implementation timelines, and ensure quality and safety requirements are met.
- Manage equipment and facility projects, including upgrades, modifications, and installations
- Optimize existing equipment according to updates in standards.
- Create work instructions and train end-users on equipment usage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience implementing equipment and creating standards, in Injection Molding or medical device manufacturing.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to equipment and facility management in the medical device industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree in engineering.
- Previous experience as a process engineer for Injection Molding.
- Electrical certification
Compensation ranges from $90k-$120k with up to a 16% bonus and will be commensurate with relevant work experience and performance.
