```Job Summary```
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals, driving business development, and achieving sales targets. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in vehicle / equipment sales.
Candidate wil manage sales functions for the entire dealership including the implementation of a defined sales process, coaching and developing sales professionals. Responsible for all sales metrics for the dealership. Hires, retains, and effectively engages department personnel.
```Responsibilities```
o Manages and coaches sales professionals to implement the sales process
o Creates development plans for sales professionals which includes identifying training needs
o Develops and executes the Sales Department metrics and goals
o Implements a consistent sales process that drives optimal financial, market and customer performance
o Ensures the sales document process is established and followed by all sales team members
o Creates and executes an effective wholegoods marketing strategy
o Manages new complete goods inventory which includes maintaining proper inventory levels and order program utilization
o Identifies and executes best practices throughout the sales department
o Develops and implement incentives plans for sales team and customers
o Develops the Sales Department business plan and reviews progress regularly
o Works with Parts and Service Managers to promote customer satisfaction
o Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
o Manages sales department equipment including vehicles and sales office equipment
o Manages used equipment processes and inventory
o Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
```Qualifications```
o 3+ years equipment sales experience
o Ability to teach and coach sales professionals on selling techniques and sales processes
o Experience leading others
o Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
o Ability to use Deere sales computer applications and tools
o Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office and Deere systems
o Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
o High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
o Associates or Bachelors Degree in business or marketing preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
