This job posting is for a Manufacturing Engineer within MANN + HUMMEL Air Filtration America’s division. This role will be responsible for supporting Engineering and Operations in their daily goals. This position will work cross-functionally within the organization across various our business segments including Sales, Quality, Operations, Planning, and within the Engineering and R&D group.

This Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for:
- Provide engineering support and continuous improvement on production products and manufacturing processes
- Primary resource for 2D and 3D CAD modeling
- Identify, design, and implement manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and automation solutions.
- Assist Product Engineering in failure analysis and change implementation.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and instructions
- Automation process improvements working with Continuous Improvement and Automation teams
- Continued process improvements on existing products.
- Assistance in product launches as well as plant support on projects as needed.
- Troubleshooting production process failures and implementing corrective actions
- Analyze and maintain Routings for product assembly processes
- Collaborate with Quality to improve product quality, inspection criteria, and facilitating the continued product improvement process
- Understanding of lean principles needed to effectively lead projects and process improvement initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to be persuasive and make technical presentations to various audiences
- Training and mentoring future key resources
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong follow-through skills
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Tri-mist Optimization
- Full kaizen of materials and product flow
- Point of use, layout of lines, headcount rationalization, inventory rationalization raw and FG levels.
- Process documentation improvements to include video work instructions of assembly and testing.
- Cycle time and throughput understanding.
- Professionalization of test methods and recording.
Skills and Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Textiles, and Industrial Concentrations)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Lean certification
- AutoCAD Experience
- Inventor Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Engineering role (preferred)
- Ability to Speak, Read and understand English Preferred

Pay: $66,828.41 - $80,481.53 per year
