+ Position Overview

The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for supporting a newly launched workforce development program by creating a Manufacturing Curriculum, training content, and trainer instruction for synchronous and asynchronous learning. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to partnering with the MxD workforce development department, subject-matter experts, third-party project partners, and credentialing/certification bodies.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can synthesize information from different parties to innovate a learning curriculum; this person should enjoy learning and building processes in a highly dynamic environment. This role will report to the Director of Workforce Development Programs.

This position is a Contract Position with an anticipated contract end date of June 2025, and you will be payrolled through an employment agency.

+ Position Responsibilities

  • Actively support and execute MxD Learn’s overall business strategy
  • Develop, edit, and deliver curricula and Training content for both asynchronous and synchronous learning
  • Liaise with credentialing and certification bodies to ensure developed training programs meet certification requirements and provide guidance to the MxD Learn team on ensuring curricula and content meet certification standards (For example SACA, CompTIA, etc.)
  • Collaborate with MxD team members, including the Project Manager and Product Manager, to support the development of training content compatible with MxD Learn’s Virtual Training Center LMS
  • Manage tracking and reporting of project data
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

+Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with experience in technical, manufacturing operations, or other related study. Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including technical manufacturing-focused curriculum development and architecture, training development, and instruction
  • Strong understanding of curriculum and Training content credentialing and/or certification requirements
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, exceptional ability to communicate and present to a wide audience, including academic, industry, non-profit, and government partners
  • Strong ability to build interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to complete tasks by given deadlines
  • Ability to function independently with little guidance and to complete tasks in accordance with set timelines
  • Strong ability to build interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic environment
