Manual Machinist

SADLER MACHINE CO., INC. has a need for the following positions:

1st and 2nd shift Manual Machinists

1st shift works Mon.-Fri. 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with option of 4, 10 hour days.

2nd shift works Mon.-Thurs. 3:15 pm -1:45 am. 10% wage premium for 2nd shift.

Salary: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour

*Signing Bonus: $5,000.00

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Applicants must have the ability to set up and run larger manual lathes and mills
• Must also be able to work in fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Capable of measuring and inspecting final products
• Welding capabilities are a big plus
• CNC experience is a plus
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus

SALDER MACHINE is an ISO certified, full service Machine shop that specializes in job shop (manual) machining. SADLER MACHINE also specializes in large CNC turning and milling of short run production and/or prototype parts. Other in-house departments include fabrication of weldments, CNC burn table, Blanchard grinding, stress relieving, and on-site machining. Located in Cedar Rapids, IA. SADLERMACHINE operates in a 60,000 sq. ft. climate controlled building.
