SalaryLATHE MACHINIST
As a lathe machinist you will be responsible for machining short run, small precision parts for use in simulated training equipment; primary for military and commercial flight simulators. Duties will be performed on CNC and conventional lathes.
GENERAL SKILLS AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Lathe operators need NOT reply.
5+ yrs minimum experience.
Must be able to read blueprints, program, and set-up conventional lathe.
Must be able to program, set-up and operate HAAS lathes.
CL1 experience preferred.
Knowledge of CNC lathe programming with VQC for Windows or other similar program desired.
Have your own tools
Knowledge of bit sharpening
Gear manufacturing experience a plus
HOURS
Day shift
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM (overtime may be required as needed)
