Manual Lathe Machinist

Job Description

Trupply LLC is looking for a Manual Lathe Machinist to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing industry and possess a passion for quality.

Essential Duties:
Perform machine setup, adjustments, and adjustments to ensure proper function of machine.

• Machine flanges, nipples and fittings on a 17 x 40 Manual Lathe
• Be able to operate Knee Mill as well
• Perform quality inspections on machines.
• Set up, operate, and maintain all machines.
• Maintain work area and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Must have 10 years of lathe or mill machining experience
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes preferred.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of measuring tools preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and external customers and representatives.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
