Who You Are
- You have been a key driver of successful ERP and SCM projects and ongoing operational support using Microsoft Dynamics 365. You have been responsible for leading a team of technology professionals in the delivery of e-commerce and Supply Chain technology solutions to meet the evolving business requirements of both internal and external customers.
What You’ll Do
- The manager of Supply Chain Applications will manage a portfolio of Supply Chain projects, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, lead the solutions delivery lifecycle from discovery through deployment based on business priorities and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, guide and coach a team of analysts and engineers to deliver scalable e-commerce and Supply Chain solutions to meet both internal and external customer requirements
- Provide thought leadership and define solution architectures to deploy intelligent business processes, primarily leveraging the evolving native capabilities of the Dynamics 365 ecosystem
- Collaborate with users, customers, partners and engineers on solution designs for sales order management, inventory and warehouse management, shipping and transportation management
- Implement Supply Chain solutions to expand our service offerings with Fulfillment and Logistics (F&L) customers via standard and templatized interfaces of EDI and API as well as Marketplaces such as Amazon and Shopify; architected and robustly integrated with Dynamics 365
- Configure Dynamics 365 functionality to enable business requirements for process areas including sales and billing, procurement and sourcing, demand planning, item management, bill of materials (BOM), production control, inventory control, quality assurance, receive/putaway, pick/pack/ship, and freight/carrier load management
- Ensure proper DevOps best practice processes are followed including configuration management, source code repositories and branching framework, and CI/CD pipelines
- Implement a production support model and track, monitor and communicate performance metrics
- Ensure all projects and products are delivered on-time, on-scope and with high degree of quality
- Manage the F&L project portfolio and resource capacity plans in alignment with enterprise roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Build, model and reenforce a strong team culture of collaboration, cooperation, communication, respect, professionalism, customer service and adaptability to change
- Adhere to and enforce change control processes to ensure SOX compliance and work with auditors on audit requests such as providing backup documentation or system demonstrations of control configurations as audit evidence
What You Need
- Bachelors degree, preferably in a business or technology discipline
- 10+ years of total professional IT experience in application management or software development
- 2+ years of ERP implementation and support experience with Dynamics AX/365
- 5+ years working in a fulfillment or Supply Chain environment including order, inventory, warehouse and transportation management
- 2+ years managing a team of technology professionals
- Previous experience working at a publicly traded company and managing in-scope business systems
- Proficient in Dynamics AX/365 modules including Commerce HQ, product information management, sales and marketing, procurement and sourcing, production control, inventory management, warehouse management, and transportation management
- Experience leading one or more full lifecycle ERP system implementations
- Understands complex business requirements
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong process design and gap analysis experience
- Experience documenting business process flows using Visio
- Able to see the big picture and drive down into details as required
- Communicates verbal and non-verbal messages articulately and succinctly
- Actively listens to messages being delivered by others
- Skilled at small and large group facilitation
- Remains calm under pressure and instills confidence across project teams
- Manages conflict tactfully by bringing disagreements into the open and facilitating the team to consensus whenever possible
- Knows when to escalate issues
- Able to set priorities for self and team and multi-task across multiple concurrent high-priority assignments
- Skilled at building and delivering presentations to internal and external customers
- Comfortable working with team members from all levels of the organization
- Up to 10% travel may be required as needed by project work
