Job description

The Manager of Strategic Initiatives role will support the development and execution of Medicare Advantage initiatives, specifically patient retention and organic growth for Aledade's practice partners. These initiatives will be partnerships between Aledade, Medicare Advantage plans, and other Medicare entities that support patients and practices participating in value based care arrangements. This role will collaborate closely with internal teams and external payer partners and Medicare Advantage brokers to develop, launch, support and manage Strategic Initiatives across multiple markets.

We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the U.S. or from our headquarters office in Bethesda, MD.
Primary Duties:
    • Play a role in the development of initiatives that support payer partnerships and patient retention targets and cross-functionally manage those initiatives through development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (e.g., develop project plans, business cases, and ROI analysis to support initiatives)
    • Partner with payers and internal stakeholders to communicate and enhance Aledade's value proposition and positioning of Aledade practices in the market to support patient retention and growth goals
    • Engage with market teams to support the implementation of initiatives and monitor performance 
    • Monitor and identify changes to industry dynamics and adjust strategies as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibility
    • Strong strategic planning, project management, analytics, and structured problem-solving skills
    • Basic understanding of the payer & provider ecosystem within healthcare
    • Experience leading and/or managing internal and external stakeholder meetings
Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
    • Master's degree or other advanced degrees in management, health services research, health and/or public policy, or other relevant fields and 6+ years in healthcare with health plans within value-based care
    • Solid understand of Medicare Advantage plans, strategies, and marketing
    • 2+ years of management consulting experience
    • Passionate about driving the shift from fee-for-service to value based care
Physical Requirements:
    • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
    • Ability to travel.
