Compensation :
Salary Range (Grade F / 479 ) : $ 8 1,780 (Min) - $ 1 16,074 (Max)
Responsibilities :
This position manages the design, construction, and rehabilitation activities of new and existing facilities. The position will be responsible for managing the testing and evaluation of shop maintenance equipment and technologies including new car washing/washer technology. The position will also be responsible for supervising research and development on new sources for maintenance and inspection of Shop Equipment.
Education and Experience :
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering or a related field and five ( 5 ) years of satisfactory related experience , and t wo ( 2 ) years of experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity , OR
A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills :
- Knowledge of NYCT Policies/Procedures, OSHA + Environmental Regulations, Chemical and Industrial Engineering, Building Codes, NYCT Procurement/Contracting Methodologies, architectural design, computer-assisted Design, and Contract Terminology.
Selection Method :
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
