Job DescriptionResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development and oversees the implementation of the sourcing strategy, serves as the primary contact and is responsible for negotiation outcomes for all categories and commodities.
- Take ownership of and is responsible for global sourcing performance.
- Oversee the implementation of all category and commodity sourcing strategies.
- Ensure all sourcing methodologies are in alignment with the regional and global sourcing strategies.
- Develop the procurement vision and strategy.
- Establish strong relationships with key executives to facilitate implementation of a centralized sourcing program/strategy.
- Ensure adherence to sourcing and vendor management policies.
- Accountable for outcomes resulting from high dollar and/or high-risk sourcing negotiations.
- Approve savings metrics and supplier consolidation and cost reduction recommendations from commodity managers.
- Lead sourcing category leads in conducting industry, emerging market, supplier and sourcing methodology research in order to inform and complete supplier selection.
- Recruit, direct, motivate and develop sourcing category leads, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and, if applicable, their ability to effectively lead their teams. Responsible for the performance management processes for category sourcing managers. Responsible for the achievement of global goals and objectives, and supervision of sourcing category managers.
- Aggregate - analyze spend data to identify spend categories for strategic sourcing events.
- Build market intelligence capabilities within the category management team on key markets, trends, suppliers and solutions.
- Savings pipeline management for categories under management.
- Oversee contract development and administration.
- Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess performance, risk, future strategies, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, reputational, and ethical risks to minimize potential negative impacts to the company.
Requirements
- Maintain broad knowledge of all category and commodity sourcing needs specific to different regions, business units.
- Deep understanding of all key stakeholder strategies and develops and executes sourcing projects needed to facilitate the stakeholder strategies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams across business groups and functions.
- Associate degree with minimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.
- Proven strategic and critical thinking skills as well as an ability to execute.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certified Sourcing Professional (SIG) and/or Certified Professional in Supply Management (ISM World) also preferred.
Pay Range InformationExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Salary Grade Minimum - Annual$94,000.00
Salary Grade Maximum - Annual$164,400.00
Salary Grade Minimum - Hourly$45.19
Salary Grade Maximum - Hourly$79.04
