Job Summary

As the Manager of Retail Operations and Development, you will lead our go-to-market and Business Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the transformation and innovation of retail. 

You’ll leverage your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to design actionable plans and roadmaps related to sales operations, GTM operations, and Business Operations. Your recommendations are based off data, and you can be agile in designing, executing, and prioritizing solutions that drive results. As a leader, you must be able to confidently and collaboratively foster innovation from your team and develop strong cross-functional partnerships with sales leaders, sales operations, sales enablement, product, analytics, IT, finance, procurement, external vendors, and more. This role reports to the Director of Retail Operations and Tools.

Responsibilities

  • GTM Operations: Strong partnership with Sales Development, Sales Engagement, product and offer teams to bring new products and offers to market 
  • Sales Operations: Ensure sales operations efficiencies in close partnership with the retail leadership and Operations team, along with our cross functional partners to build/refine better processes and support models (e.g., Retail Playbook, logistics/vendor partnerships, process optimizations/automations/documentation, etc)
  • Business Operations: Support retail Business Operations from account set up and vendor management, to oversight of time management solution (WFS). Understanding business challenges and develop and prioritize solutions to make significant impacts to process, experience and cost savings
  • People Leader: Ability to inspire, coach, and lead direct reports, cross-functional partners, and external vendors
  • Experienced and proficient in running down the solution, and not the workaround

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of sales or sales operations leadership and/or business performance transformation with a proven track record of consistent delivery against business plans and targets
  • 2+ years of people management experience 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and front-end and back-end sales systems, including but not limited to, POS systems, CRM systems, and sales automation tools
  • You’ve led successful development and implementations of large and complex initiatives, including proactively identifying obstacles and roadblocks and influencing solution implementation across teams 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, self-sufficient with strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Strong project/program management skills and ability to pair strategic thinking with execution excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data-points into easily consumable insights
  • Curious and detail oriented – leave no stone unturned, but has the business acumen to prioritize actions
  • Desire to grow and learn!
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to be regularly present in the Optimum field across the footprint

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law.  Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00  - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
