Position Summary
The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring AMIkids Programs meet the key elements of program safety, PGM compliance and contract requirements. Responsibilities include auditing systems, files, and other records to ensure ongoing compliance with AMIkids and contracting agency requirements and ensuring training is developed and provided.
Essential Job Duties
- Oversight of ‘Performance Quality Improvement (PQI)’ compliance components for Programs,
- Develop systems and practices to ensure programs comply with key elements of Program safety, PGM compliance and contract requirements/standards/regulations,
- Notify applicable members of management of areas of exposure) e.g., compliance, non-compliance) and action steps for correction,
- Conduct investigations and identify the root-cause of the deficiencies,
- Ensure policy and procedures meet Program standards/contracts/regulations. Update related changes in KIDS,
- Develop related training ensuring areas identified for development are addressed and delivered to the appropriate Team Members,
- Partner with appropriate departments to design, develop the compliance and performance standards and training plans for all Programs; and implement the delivery of training,
- Active participant and contributor in assigned PQI sub-committees,
- Track internal peer review process and outcomes related to PQI areas; develop audit process,
- Co-ordinate external peer reviews and track action items and outcomes,
- Review relevant accreditations (e.g., ACHA, CARF etc.) for the Program and work with applicable leaders to develop a process to monitor critical elements of the accreditation requirements and partner with Training Department to develop training(s) on the process,
- May drive for other work-related tasks,
- Position requires driving on a regular basis,
- Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree,
- Minimum three (3) years compliance experience,
- Experience creating analytical reports,
- Training experience (course development & delivery),
- Effective organizational skills, detail oriented and follow-through Intermediate technology skills,
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
