POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for leading the NA Product Marketing team in developing and implementing the regional marketing programs to drive competitive growth for the Origins brand, including animation plans, product launches and promotional initiatives.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with Marketing leadership and will own 360 launch planning and execution, sampling strategy performance reporting, competitive analysis and budget management for the Body and Promotional Marketing categories. The position requires confidence to lead internal cross-functional teams, bias for action and critical thinking.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with North America Brand Marketing VP in annual strategic planning for the brand, leveraging data to generate insights and growth opportunities for Origins, specifically for the Body and Promotional Marketing categories.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Creative, Supply Chain, Finance, Trade Marketing, Account Management, Consumer Engagement, CRM, and Digital Marketing) to develop programs that drive our brand portfolio and ensure seamless communication across all touchpoints
- Work closely with the Global Marketing team on new product and commercial innovation that are the right fit for NA retail landscape; including sets and promotional programs by retailer.
- Analyze competitive data through NPD to report market and consumer insights. Leverage insights to optimize our marketing programs and generate ideas for future launches and marketing initiatives
- Develop and exhibit strong comprehension of all business drivers (including quantitative and qualitative data), retail landscape and consumer behavior
- Lead ad hoc competitive analysis providing recommendations and action plans specifically in the active naturals skincare space.
- Lead SKU pricing research for new launches and annual price increases, managing the price change and communication to cross-functional teams
- Lead briefs for new creative and adaptation of North America marketing assets with Creative team and Global Marketing, specifically for Visual Merchandising instore and eventing.
- Liase between NA Region and Origins Global team on reporting of launch results, templates for NA strategy team.
- Lead MFP sub category planning by SKU in partnership with NA Sales Planning seasonally.
- Drive North America calendar for NPL/Commercial Innovation and Promotional moments by key retailer.
Qualifications
- 5+ years related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar.
- Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines and prioritize projects effectively.
- Ability to own strategic and highly analytical projects.
- Strong presentation skills and written/oral communications.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of creativity.
- Strong relationship management, interpersonal skills and resourcefulness (ability to operate successfully with limited budgets and people resources).
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Hands-on with a positive attitude.
- Must have the potential to assume increased responsibility.
- Marketing experience within beauty industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with NPD data a plus is a plus.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
