Job Duties: Manager, Product Engineering - Customer Account for Neiman Marcus Group LLC at its facilities located in Dallas, TX. Plan, design and execute on Universal Customer Account strategy to provide core foundational capability related to Customer Account and identity management; manages multiple complex work streams required to execute large scale initiatives and programs that deliver highly reliable systems on-schedule, on-budget, to the committed scope using agile development practices; provides clear direction and leads team(s) in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices; identifies opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. This position is open to remote work from approved locations in the United States.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, Information Systems or closely related field. Experience must include five (5) years post-bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: Delivering and operating large scale, highly available (HA) mobile or web applications; Developing websites with the following technologies - Java with Spring boot, or NodeJS with Javascript or Typescript, ReactJS and ElasticSearch or Lucene; Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals; Databases, NoSQL data stores, storage and distributed persistence technologies; As technical lead; Working with distributed teams; Working in Agile blended teams with product development, business operations, and product management; Rules engine-based development using Drools; API (REST and GraphQL), API Management (Mashery or Apiary or WSO2) and building scalable and HA Web APIs; and Experience working on Authentication and Authorization Platforms (AWS cognito, or Auth0, or Okta or OAuth2).
