Position Summary

Our Human Resources team is transforming into a lean, analytical and fast-moving organization that continues to deliver caring and empathetic people services across the company, while increasing our leverage of our HRIS, Financial and Real Estate systems to ensure we focus on the right things to maintain our industry leadership.   If you have been looking for a place to grow your People Analytics leadership in close partnership with HR, business, technical and finance experts, then we have a great opportunity for you!

The Manager, People Analytics will build and own the vision for our long-term people data architecture working closely with the IT and Finance teams to leverage existing PowerBI, Azure and Workday Adaptive investments.    You will also own the enhancement and acceleration of existing dashboards and survey analyses so leaders on the HR team can work with business leaders using accurate, current and easy-to-use metrics, visualizations & predictive analytics.   This is a great opportunity to work closely with the CHRO, to whom this position reports, and the whole HR team as they adopt design thinking and agile practices in service of business priorities and goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set up regular dashboard and reporting rhythm between UKG and PowerBI and lead efforts to evolve to a data warehouse/lake approach working with the IT team
• Build on prior listening surveys and analysis to connect survey results with retention and business performance; update questions & integrate with dashboards
• Work with Finance to integrate headcount, attrition and recruiting data into overall operational workforce planning approach using Workday Adaptive
• Support monthly leadership conversations with accurate, clear data and metrics that ensures Berkshire Residential people practices stay ahead of competitors
• Build trusted relationships across the Human Resources team and our key partners so that you and all your colleagues effectively utilize people data to drive business success

Knowledge/Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in roles connected to People Analytics, Workforce Planning, HR Information Systems and/or broader business analytics
• Experience working across a Human Resources organization to understand people priorities and connect them to dashboards, metrics & reports
• Possess a fundamental understanding of core HR data elements including headcount, attrition, recruiting, listening and compensation definitions, applications & challenges
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to influence through the use of charts & visualizations
• Aptitude for organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple priorities, using critical thinking and problem solving
• Collaborative working style with inclusive work and thinking behaviors, commitment to excellence in teams and work product
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in high pressure and sensitive situations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, in particular taking into account the privacy and regulatory implications of people data
• Demonstrated high level of ethics and integrity with a straightforward and honest approach

Technical/ Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Human Resources or equivalent experience required
• Proven ability to define, deliver and maintain PowerBI dashboards & KPIs using complex multi-source data sets with Power Query required.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets in Excel using formulae, pivot tables, and database functions required.
• Certification or concentrations in People Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence or similar a plus
• Knowledge of design thinking principles, Agile methodologies and adaptation for HR processes a plus
• Experience with UKG-UltiPro a plus
