Job description

Position Overview:

You will report directly to the Order Management Manager and be a critical member of the quote to cash process (“Q2C”). From being heavily involved in the entire customer life cycle, including quoting, processing orders, and invoicing, you will get to have significant interaction with the Deal Desk, Sales, Accounts Receivable, Corporate Controller, and other operational stakeholders. This holds an opportunity for you to optimize and document Order Management related policies and procedures.

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing/provisioning of subscription and professional services orders in billing system

  • Review customer Order Forms for accuracy to ensure clean revenue recognition, sales activity reporting and commissions processing

  • Partner with Deal Desk and Sales on quoting, Accounts Receivable on invoicing, and serve as an expert in Company bookings and fulfilment policies

  • Perform a detail-oriented review of quotes and order forms to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company bookings and revenue recognition policies

  • Lead monthly compliance billing process, partnering with Sales to quote and invoice for compliance overages

  • Provide overall Order Management expertise to the internal operational teams for tool changes, requirement gathering and testing of new product offerings

  • Ad hoc projects as required by the business throughout time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant experience in Order Management/contract management roles (SaaS experience a plus)

  • Experienced user of Salesforce and Q2C systems including subscription billing software and ERP systems (experience with Billing Platform, Avalara and NetSuite is a plus)

  • Broad understanding of policies, processes and systems relating to order fulfilment and invoicing

  • Experience with projects and initiatives related to process improvement,

    systems & data flows, new product launches and operational efficiency a plus
