General Summary:
The Manager, Operations Workforce Management is responsible for strategic planning, designing, and analyzing all aspects of multi-site Workforce Management activities in support of the Operations Division. Key responsibilities include strategic alignment with Operations Leadership, scheduling management and optimization, near-term forecasting, real[1]time management of adherence, performance monitoring, analysis, performance coaching, and team leadership. All positions within the Operations Division are expected to collaborate cross-divisionally to achieve a seamless customer experience; this includes supporting other departments as necessary to meet the business need.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.     Lead team to develop actionable analysis and recommend solutions enabling opportunities for benefit realization. Proactively seek out areas of opportunity to improve the effective use of operations resources.
2.     Responsible for strategic alignment regarding WFM partnership to internal and external partners including strategy and planning teams and IT.
3.     Performance Coaching: Actively lead individual/team coaching sessions with a focus on developing relationships that encourage reflection and help team members to improve performance, personal effectiveness, and impact. Engage with team members in a proactive and positive manner during coaching sessions to co-create solutions through effective two-way conversations. Participate in department level performance coaching initiatives and individual coaching sessions with leadership.
4.     Performance Management: Hold team members accountable for performance and behaviors as outlined in Company and Department policies and procedures; including but not limited to attendance, performance, prohibited conduct, compliance, and quality. Collaborate with Employee Relations to ensure that proper corrective action process is followed in a timely manner and ensure all tracking mechanisms are updated and accurate.
5.     All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with Workforce Management software (forecasting, scheduling, schedule adherence, performance tracking, reporting) preferred.
Experience with implementation and best practices with new technology/platform.
Ability to create and facilitate presentations with emphasis on story telling through data-driven analysis. Effectively implement performance coaching activities and techniques to support and develop a team.
Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
Ability to be highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
