Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. Surrounded by beautiful trees and granite mountains, Tenaya Lodge is the perfect environment for outdoor enthusiasts with great hiking trails, waterfalls, rivers, and creeks to explore in and around Yosemite. - Oversee the protection and safety of company assets, patrons, and team members
- Enforce all company, department, and organizational policies and procedures and report incidents
- Observe and report procedural violations and illegal activity
- Fill out departmental log forms, verify that all paperwork is complete and turned in
- Assist with fires, wind storms, floods, blizzards, evacuations, and other emergencies as directed
- Provide security for special functions
- Operate company vehicles for transportation across the property as needed
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain guest goodwill
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events
- A valid driver's license
- The ability to see, hear, walk, run, sit, squat, bend, reach and grasp objects throughout the shift in all weather conditions
- Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds
