GritCycle Manager on Duty (MOD) is passionate, experience focused, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and fitness and an excitement for our brand. We are a family owned company looking for hyper-organized, efficient, forward-thinking problem-solvers with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, and the desire to be a part of building a stronger Grit community. Full-time employees must have at least 5 days of availability week-over-week, ranging from 24 to 32 hours a week, with at least one of those days being a Saturday or Sunday.
Additionally, all employees are expected to be available to work peak holiday shifts. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients Work with GritCycle staff across departments including Team Members, MODs Instructors and management in daily studio tasks and projects Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative to provide a high-end boutique fitness experience Provide support to the GritCycle instructors to ensure a successful class check-in process Assist with the training of new hires Maintain an active CPR certification and uphold protocol for client and staff safety Maintain the distinct GritCycle aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture Oversee management of cash flow and the point of sale system while on shift. Deliver first class hospitality at all times by greeting, assisting, and checking in clients for their class Ensure GritCycle Team Members tasks are completed to the brand standards Take a leadership position in managing and handling complex client and staff inquiries and challenging studio situations, such as client or staff injuries, sound issues, bike issues etc. Establish and maintain effective, clear communication with Studio Manager on facilities, personnel, studio supplies, retail and client issues.
Act as the primary point person for special events and celebrations occurring while on shift. Respond to inquiries in-person, on the phone, and via e-mail Working quickly and efficiently in the booking/POS system to register clients, process payments, and maintain database information up to date. Guide clients with regards to studio offerings, promotions,flash sales and special events.
