Your Opportunity
The Manager ofPublic Relations & Social Media plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand's image and reputation in North America. This position requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking and effective communication to successfully engage the target audience and build the brand's awareness and cultural relevance.
Your Mission
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Public Relations strategy that supports the company's business objectives, ensuring consistent and positive messaging across all channels
- Serve as the primary company spokesperson, responding to media inquiries, and representing the company at public events and industry conferences
- Manage and coordinate high-profile media campaigns, including product launches, corporate announcements, and crisis communications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, industry analysts, and influencers, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation
- Develop and pitch compelling story ideas to the media, write press releases and other PR materials, and coordinate media interviews and events to generate positive coverage and awareness
- Own the strategic development and execution of the brands Social Media strategy
- Align organic and paid Social Media activities and campaigns alongside Paid Media team and marketing and eCommerce counterparts, and agencies
- Drive partnerships with like-minded brands and creators for social campaigns and giveaways in collaboration with the Partnerships Specialist
- Conceptualize and create IG Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes footage, and other supporting assets for editorial photo shoots, campaigns, and events
- Work closely with the Customer Experience team to deliver accurate and customer-centric assistance
Your Skills
- 5-7+ years of experience in PR and/or Social Media Marketing
- Experience or strong ties to the premium parents and children's consumer goods space
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Experience working cross functionally with a global team preferred
- Bachelor in Communications, Marketing or a related field
This is a hybrid role and to be considered you must live in Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
