Manager Of Operational Excellence

1.     Strategic Planning:

·       Develop and implement a comprehensive Operational Excellence strategy aligned with organizational goals.

·       Collaborate with senior leadership to align Operational Excellence initiatives with overall business objectives.

2.     Process Optimization:

·       Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.

·       Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste.

·       Facilitate the development and ensure meticulous operator adherence to centerlines, promoting a culture of Operational consistency and efficiency.

3.     Performance Measurement:

·       Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.

·       Implement metrics and reporting systems to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

4.     Change Management:

·       Lead change initiatives by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

·       Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes and improvements.

5.     Training and Development:

·       Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees in Operational Excellence methodologies.

·       Foster a learning environment that encourages continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.

6.     Cross-Functional Collaboration:

·       Work closely with various departments and teams to understand their processes and identify opportunities for collaboration and improvement.

·       Facilitate cross-functional teams to address complex operational challenges.

7.     Root Cause Analysis:

·       Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify the underlying issues contributing to operational inefficiencies.

·       Implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent reoccurrence.

8.     Quality Management:

·       Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that Operational Excellence initiatives align with quality standards and compliance requirements.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

·       Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field

·       Proven experience in Operational Excellence, process improvement, and change management.

·       Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies 

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
