A day in the life
The Manager of Marketing is responsible for managing and driving marketing strategies that promote the organization its products and services. This role will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative marketing campaigns and materials that drive understanding, interest, and demand for our solutions.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leads and guides employees in accomplishing work objectives within the unit(s). Coaches, motivates, rewards, and recognizes employees. Sets clear goals and objectives, sets performance expectations, and holds employees accountable for achieving results.
- Serves as a strategic partner to sales and product teams, driving marketing communications planning, budgeting, and execution for lines of business.
- Conducts market research to determine a target audience's needs, wants, habits, interests, and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing campaigns.
- Designs campaigns targeting specific market segments or focusing on specific products or product lines.
- Measures and analyzes campaign results to determine return on investment and shares results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Consults and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on the development, execution, and ongoing efforts around marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Works to understand the customer data and relevant interests to optimize customer segmentation and outcomes.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of previous marketing programs and the viability of new ones.
- Oversees and develops a comprehensive sales enablement/training program covering product, sales techniques, compliance, technology and communication and customer service.
- Assists with digital marketing activities that optimize marketing effectiveness and enhance user experience.
- Ensures brand and industry compliance standards are upheld across all lines of business marketing communications activities.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related.
- 6 years of experience in marketing, sales, marketing communications, marketing plan development, advertising, strategic planning, marketing campaigns, or related.
- 3 years of leadership experience with the desire to grow and empower team members.
- Maintain and build relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong communication skills in order to be a trusted advisor and partner.
- Ability to take initiative and have a creative and innovative mindset.
Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
