Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description & Responsibilities
· Join an established group of 6 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists
· Current need is for cataract surgeon-general ophthalmologist
· Currently there are specialists in surgical and medical retina, cornea, pediatrics and glaucoma Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, oculoplastics, cornea and cataract surgery would be welcome
· The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room
· On call is every 6th weekend and rarely busy
· Salary Range: $400,000 – $476,675 This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
· Sign on Bonus up to $100,000.

· MD, DO or MBBS
· Board Eligible or Board Certified
· NYS Licensure
· BLS Certification Required
