Job Description
The YouScience Professional Services team is seeking an experienced Manager of Consulting Services to forward their work in the education market.
Qualifications
THE REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree, Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years proven experience in consulting, advising or similar roles. 5+ years effective experience in K-12 education that may include: Career connected learning, career technical education, workforce and career development, and development or support of pathways or academy models.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client-facing consulting and project work: Includes data gathering, data analysis and interpretation, consensus building, creating reports, facilitating groups of all sizes, creating presentations, presenting recommendations as well as solutions, creating deliverables, and growing client relationships. Also includes creating templates and some content for key projects.
- Projects and professional development workshops may include the following topics: Business and industry engagement, Building CTE pathways and academies, CTE program improvement, Building career connected learning systems, and Profile of a Graduate creation.
Consultant management: Includes overseeing a group of 1099 consultants by coaching, advising, contracting talent, coordinating for strategic growth, and determining proper staffing for projects.
Consultative solutioning and scalable ideation: Includes creating and/or co-creating project solutions for projects including scope advisement and identifying any risk for scope misalignment. May include creating innovative solutions with original frameworks and models.
Collaborative work: Includes working efficiently and effectively with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and client expectations. Also includes thought-partnering for strategic initiatives.
