Responsibilities:
- Ensures consistency with the standards and guidelines set forth by Professional Boards in regards to structure, academic standards, record keeping and the evaluation process.
- Collaborates with affiliated educational institutions and CC clinical directors to develop strategies to address long-term staff needs.
- Functions as a key liaison to strategic educational partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse RN.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Five years’ experience in education or related environment which could include
- coaching/precepting/mentoring on an ongoing basis
- serving consistently in a unit-based champion role
- leading educational initiatives at unit/institute/hospital level consistently
- Experience in specialty area assigned to work preferred. (e.g.Critical Care/ED)
Physical Requirements:
- Typical physical demands include the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Requires corrected vision to normal range.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range: $44.53 - $67.92 / hour
