JOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Endpoint Management role is accountable for leading multiple individual contributors in support of enterprise-level endpoint devices, providing vision and leadership for the architecture, engineering, implementation, and operations of enterprise technologies including Endpoint Management platforms, pre-boot environments, solution new hardware devices and implementation for various application use cases, and process reengineering to automate and optimize enterprise processes and workflows.
This role is expected to collaborate constantly and effectively across teams encompassing both business partners and various Digital & Technology teams, perform expected managerial and leadership functions, and additionally assist with hands-on engineering, operations tasks, as well as providing transition documentation for handing off systems to support teams.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement vision and strategy for enterprise technology architecture across technologies and platforms. Enable business goals in partnership with technology and business stakeholders.
- Lead engineering teams, focusing on technical implementation of key enterprise technology, such as Endpoint Management (SCCM, AirWatch, InTune, JAMF, Software Center, etc.), hardware solutioning, and process reengineering/automation.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders (business, technology, finance, and sourcing), as well as external vendors and corporate NBCU partners, to identify and assess business requirements, provide insights, and make recommendations.
- Mentor the technical team, ensure best practices (both technical and general policy) are performed for all key systems, lead the development of in-depth technical documentation and process training materials in collaboration with internal users and departments.
- Collaborate with teams at other parks, ensure set policies are being followed to the best of their abilities enterprise wide.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Associate degree, Technical school degree, or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years in Information Technology or related fields as a technical contributor (Engineering preferred)
- 2+ years’ experience managing and developing employees, preferably in the customer service, hospitality, or information technology fields.
- 2+ years of experience in a theme park technical support role is preferred;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Preferred relevant certifications in IT, examples: A+, Network+, Security+, MCSA, CCNA, ITIL
