Manager, Investor Relations
The Manager of Investor Relations is a key role reporting directly to the President and CFO with direct support to the CEO and is responsible to manage the company’s successful Investor Relations functions. The Manager of Investor Relations will act as the liaison between the company, investors, and the public on financial matters and will support the Company’s efforts to expand the financial image through an effective investor and shareholder communications program.
The Manager of Investor Relations will track and analyze investor activities, identify networking opportunities to build and create new initiatives.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the release of distribution to investors thru outlets like M-2, business wire, Cission, etc.
  • Act as liaison between the company, investors, and the public on financial matters.
  • Assist in preparation of the quarterly release content and prepared remarks
  • Support management with quarterly investor conference calls and related business update press releases, including:
    • Timely preparation of the advance notice press releases providing investor notification of time, date and call details;
    • In advance of quarterly calls, confirm analyst availability and develop and outreach to invite other prospective buy/sell-side analysts to business update conference calls
  • Maintain and develop a positive public image for the company.
  • Provide a weekly update to CEO/CFO after market close on Fridays based on daily/weekly tracking file, including metrics related to stock price/valuation, social media followers, Section 13 holders, and email newsletter subscribers.
    • Notify CEO/CFO immediately with any unusual stock/warrant trading patterns, sentiment changes, or unusual events/news that impact the company.
    • Support the Vice President of Marketing work on design/branding email newsletters and other communications.
  • Manage relevant investor conferences list and make recommendations on which ones to attend or obtain invites from the associated investment banks.
  • Conduct a quarterly review of NOBO list changes and update IR contacts file, including a full list to be included on group email updates and a more select VIP list for larger investors to follow-ups.
  • PAVM Public Outreach/Presence Management:
    • Maintain email distribution list, seek to expand list based on activities of company, regular email blasts on various topics to be determined in conjunction with CEO/CFO
    • Individualized responses to inquiries (direct or through ir@/info@pavmed.com) with guidance from the CEO/CFO
    • Monitor PAVM online – Google, StockTwits and other chat rooms, Twitter, SA, Nasdaq Rep score
    • Monitor and maintain accuracy of stock/company listings on major sites – Yahoo, Bloomberg, Etrade, Google, etc.
  • Support keeping up-to-date corporate presentation posted on website and FWP’s as required working closing with CEO/CFO/VP Marketing.
  • Actively track, manage, and maintain all confidential Investor Relations and contractual arrangements.
  • Support efforts with financial analyst and annual meetings, which may include help creating and reviewing the agenda, dates of the meetings, and fielding questions that may arise before, during, and after the meetings.
  • Prepare confidential investor reports as assigned by Executive Leadership Team. Collect information, compile into standard or non-standard format, prints, proof and distribute to appropriate company personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining schedules, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, creating expense reports.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES - REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of business or investment banking management experience at a manager level
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience providing Investor Relations support in a corporate environment
  • BA in Finance, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, the company’s goals, offerings, functions, management information systems, and related protocols used in the organization.
  • Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable and easily decipherable text and language.
  • Work requires consistent attention to Investor Relations, with a customer service acumen and a proven ability to prioritize effectively and build rapport.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively with a variety of personalities and positions.
  • Working knowledge of basic business, finance and management principles and networking techniques.
  • Computers Software – MS Office – Strong PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams.
  • Proactive, self-directing, engaging, affable, dependable, takes pride in company objectives
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to maintain flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines in a changing environment.
  • All employees are generally required to have completed an FDA-authorized or approved one or two-dose COVID-19 vaccination, and an FDA-authorized or approved SARS-CoV-2 vaccine booster dose, as eligible and recommended under the FDA guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - PREFERRED
  • Remote team support experience.
  • Capital Market experience is a plus
