Investor Relations Associate

We are looking for a motivated Investor Relations Associate to join Folino Capital. The Investor Relations Associate will provide support of all Investor Relations activities to enhance the company image and increase shareholder value. This position will be responsible for strategies and investor presentations and will maintain the distribution list of prospects.  

The Investor Relations Associate will be accountable for proper communications between the Co-Owners and the investor community to broaden and enhance shareholder value.  

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of Investor Relations experience in a high volume, multi-faceted hospitality environment. 
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance  
• Master of Business Administration Degree, preferred  
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills  
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to build credibility and collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization 
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills with strong attention to detail 
• Passionate, curious, independent, and self-motivated individual with a positive team-first attitude 
• Demonstrated analytical skills, knowledge, and understanding of business excellence 
• Self-starter who can work independently: displays self-confidence, and enthusiasm with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit  
• Ability to travel to visit with prospect investors and meet with management  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a robust and cohesive Investor Relations program, designed to clearly communicate with the investor community, drive awareness, and build Folino Capital’s long-term brand and valuation – including financial performance, key business levers, competitive benchmarking, and company strategy and outlook. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential shareholders and lead investor outreach programs. 
• Partner with senior leadership to define our external investment thesis and ensure alignment of the external messaging with internal operating plans and corporate goals. 
• Develop and evolve the communication strategy to align with changes to the business. 
• Maintain strong company and sector expertise, staying current on all company and related industry activity, as well as general market trends. 
• Lead investor marketing efforts and analyze peers and industry trends.  
• Develop scripts, talking points, presentations, and other communications strategies and materials that clearly illustrate Folino Capital’s investment thesis, strategy, and performance. 
• Handle day-to-day inquiries from investors, ensuring that information provided follows Folino Capital’s messaging. 
• Serve as Folino Capital’s liaison to investors and analysts, providing timely, accurate, and consistent responses to inquiries.  
• Maintains and develops a positive public image for the organization 
• Support Co-Owner/CEO in building long-term rapport with investors and analysts and keeps shareholders knowledgeable about the company 
• Identify the different classes of shareholders and present them according to their requirements 
• Facilitates the company’s annual meetings, which may include creating and reviewing the agenda, coordinating the meeting space, and other related tasks 
• Produces quarterly and annual shareholder reports 
• Performs other related duties as assigned
