Supply Chain

Planning, forecasting and allocating product are the crucial first steps in the product’s journey to our clients. It takes analytical, strategic, and results-oriented inventory management professionals to build our brand partnerships, forecast client behaviors and optimize inventory levels across our network. Operations and logistics complete the products’ journey into our clients’ hands. Your role at Sephora:

Responsible for leading planning team in driving category sales, in stocks, and turn targets. In addition, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Manage pre-season budget roll up by brand.
  • Conduct in season Open to Buy meetings.
  • Direct and challenge team in managing opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with DMM and Planners to strategize, develop, and manage financial plans that support key brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead development of newness seasonal strategy.
  • Support and communicate inventory team needs to Executive team and cross functional teams.
  • Partner with Allocation, Demand Planning and Logistics to develop and implement strategies that maximize sales and profitability.
  • Direct and manage Planners to meet deliverables including replenishment, OTB management, allocation to stores, process management, brand management, and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Develop better process management for team.
  • Well versed in all Inventory Management systems to support team on strategies and business maintenance.

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 years retail planning and/or buying experience (OTB management, forecasting, allocation/distribution)
  • Excellent technical skills – MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong numbers aptitude; able to compile complex statistical reports
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team development skills
  • Flexible, team player

The annual base salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $143,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
