This Marketing Manager must have demonstrated ability to move fluidly in a rapidly changing environment, as well as best-in-class written and verbal communication skills. You will work closely with internal and external partners to conceive and propose customer-facing strategies and concepts, and guide those projects to completion to hit customer, order, and revenue goals across Amazon Fresh. This will include creating complex experiment frameworks, analyzing results, and structuring scalable campaigns across a variety of customer-facing channels and touch points. This role is inherently cross-functional, working closely with external partners, central marketing teams, selection, catalog, design, operations, and product teams.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership/commitment, have proven leadership experience in managing projects and teams.
Key job responsibilities
As team lead, this role manages marketing managers who execute the following tasks for Category major National Brands:
* Execute on-site and offline marketing plans to support all key vendor brands and categories
* Manage asset collection process and partner with Design team to ensure on-time launch of all marketing activations
* Partner with vendor to create and execute test and learn plans for all marketing activations
* Analyze performance of all site campaigns and make recommendations for future optimizations
* Develop and integrate a go-to-market category strategy into the overall Amazon Fresh Strategy.
* Work closely with vendor management and instock management teams to meet business priorities for marketing placement success.
* Support in-depth business reviews and present results and insights to key stakeholders and external partners
The successful leader must:
* Develop a thorough understanding of the online grocery market segment, its seasonality and global business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
* Hire and develop leaders on the team; build a team culture that attracts talent.
* Be comfortable negotiating across the table with senior executives from major CPG companies
About the team
Under the Center Store Category Management leadership, this team owns vendor and category marketing execution and strategy for 100+ National Brands sold at Amazon Fresh.
With high performing Marketing Managers, this team is responsible for annual calendar planning, promotional placements and much more.
