A role in Global Supply Planning means ensuring that the supply, capacity, production and inventory plans are established in conjunction with demand plans and manufacturing processes to meet business needs at the vendor, factory and/or mill level. The role will ensure that capacity is available to manufacture the right product, at the right time and in the right location. The role is one of the key links between the manufacturing factories, Global sourcing, Product Development and Design, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management, Finance and Supply Chain. This new capability is still being scaled, which allows for creative thinking and leadership opportunities.

As a Manager Global Supply Planning, you will work with cross-functional teams to build supply plans for business partners who support Target Owned Brands, via capacity planning and long-range strategic planning. This capability ensures we have supply and production capacity available with the right business partners in the right countries to support Target-Owned brand sales and growth. As a newer capability within Owned Brand Sourcing and Development, you will help develop Supply Planning processes, systems, and interaction models. You will have an opportunity to make a broad scope impact at a division level and work with stakeholders in Minneapolis and overseas. You will manage and coordinate the global planning for assigned product categories via monthly and quarterly routines to ensure we support the business strategy with capacity. You will strategically align supply & capacity to merchant and sourcing strategies and problem solving through the product creation process. You will track results against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional and overseas partners. In addition, you will support flexibility strategies and processes in support of business needs. Through this work, you will lead routines to continuously drive improvements of inputs and outputs to the Supply Planning process in service of increased financial visibility and more proactive problem solving.

About you:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experiences
- 3+ years relevant sourcing, planning, inventory management, and/or Supply Planning experience
- Strong strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrates ability to analyze large sets of data and insights to form a perspective to effectively problem solve and drive decisions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills demonstrating ability to work effectively with a local and overseas partners and foster relationships.
- Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable with ambiguity and working in "grey areas" that are constantly changing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage cross-functional team, story tell through data, and keep partners informed.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing deliverables and collaborate with and influence a broad group of partners and stakeholders
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
