We are looking for an exceptional Manager, Employee Relations to join us and help raise our bar. The Global Employee Relations team leads the strategy, process and practices to navigate complex and sensitive matters, along with ensuring we continue to build a culture where everyone can grow remarkably, aligned with our values.
The ideal candidate will help to lead both strategic and hand-on support managing performance and Employee Relations issues while upholding our inclusive culture. You will assess different types of risk and bring creative and effective ideas in a way that may not be traditional to HR but embraces our unique culture and solves for our rapid business growth.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Manage a team of 6+ Employee Relations Partners and support a client group as a hands on partner and coach to leadership and employees.
Innovating on our ER strategy in partnership with HR leadership, identifying solutions and working through appropriate actions that balance risk, empathy and business need.
Leverage data and trends in Employee Relations to help influence strategy around manager training and underperformance processes.
Lead and advise on projects spanning across peer groups - specifically collaborating with individuals within People Operations, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Finance to optimize processes.
Cultivate strong relationships and alignment with Legal, HR Business Partners and functional Leadership.
Act as the point of escalation for the team with questions and concerns or investigations that may be highly visible or sensitive in nature.
We are looking for someone who:
Has the ability to exercise sound and efficient judgment when managing complex decisions, and utilizes data and systems to drive decision making

Is a natural communicator and relationship builder to influence across all personalities

Enjoys pivoting from strategic problem solving to strong execution (known to roll up their sleeves to get the job done)
Has multiple years of ER experience in a high-growth tech company, specifically supporting technical leaders as their primary stakeholder
Is curious and wants to challenge orthodoxy
Global ER employment law experience is a plus
Cash compensation range: 124600-199400 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
