About the job
A key member of the Customer Service management team, the Manager, Customer Service - Parts will manage a team of parts order coordinators and will report to the Senior Manager of Customer Service. You will provide local leadership to our parts order coordinators, support team members in their daily work, assist customers and our internal business partners with inquiries and problem resolution while driving standardization, efficiency, and team development. The manager will also perform regular duties of the parts order coordinator position.
In this role, you’ll bring your skills to a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You’ll also bring your process improvement ideas to the table, as we’re constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency. As a part of the team, you will:
- Assist the Senior Manager of Customer Service by keeping the energy level of the team high and the outlook positive. Promote the culture that we are a service organization, and we are here to help.
- Assist the Senior Manager of Customer Service, team members, customers and our internal business partners with inquiries and problem resolution. Be decisive and solution oriented in providing quick and accurate resolution.
- Understand the daily pulse of the team and assist balancing workload to keep all team members in the flow and fully utilized.
- Work with the Customer Service management team to define Key Performance Indicators for the team
- Maintain daily ALPS Cell Status Board meetings per the rotational schedule
- Assist in the research and resolution of invoice disputes
- Perform management duties in assistance to the Senior Manager of Customer Service.
What you know
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field
- 5+ years progressive experience working in Customer Service, operations or finance
- Strong leadership skills, prior management experience a plus
- Excellence in customer interaction and engagement; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
