Position Purpose: The Clinical Operations Manager is accountable for all aspects of program development, operations, service delivery, client service, reporting, and personnel management. This position also oversees the recruitment, hiring and management of staff, and provides management oversight for contract network providers who deliver services.
- Manages remote teams of contract clinical network providers, including establishing objectives, administering performance management and providing for their professional development.
- Manages program growth and execution through effective recruiting, on boarding, and overseeing all aspects of service delivery.
- Monitors staff performance and initiates modifications to enhance program success.
- Manages business operations, resolving internal operational issues raised by remote field staff.
- Works with Directors on development of Quality program, training, and financial management of programs.
- Leads new program development and implementation of initiatives as requested by client.
- Oversees contracts for network providers.
- Manages monthly reporting and program documentation
- Responsibilities require travel to domestic and/or remote locations at least 30% of the time.
- Act as a point of contact to provider hospital case managers to understand and resolve care planning and utilization management issues
- Builds and maintains a strong working relationship with Provider Hospital Clinical teams
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Nursing or other clinical behavioral science is required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum five years experience in a leadership role over a geographically decentralized team of behavioral health clinicians, particularly deployed field teams. Minimum five years supervisory experience.
License/Certification: Some programs may require a licensed or certified mental health professional, or registered nurse. Must have and maintain current, valid and unrestricted clinical license for some programs.
Licensed Social Worker or Registered Nurse highly preferred
