Compensation:$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:- Greet guests with a smile and provide outstanding customer service. We want our guests to feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment they walk through the door.
- Learn our offerings through-and-through in order to become a go-to resource of knowledge for the space.
- Help create and maintain systems and processes that ensure smooth and efficient operations. We need someone who can help us stay organized and on top of things as we continue to grow.
- Help dream up, plan, and execute fun new activities, offerings, and special events for kids and their families. We’re always looking for new and exciting ways to engage and entertain our guests.
- Oversee daily open play operations – from inventory management and cleaning to ensuring our retail and snack areas are fully stocked and toys are clean and refreshed! Ensuring that we’re offering a clean environment for our guests and that we never run out of supplies are paramount to the overall guest experience!
This position will work approximately 30 to 40 hours per week. It will include three scheduled weekdays (8:30 am to 3:30 pm-ish), 8-10 “flex” hours (to be used for planning events and offerings, assisting with the schedule, inventory management, assisting with developing new processes, etc.) – with at least half of the “flex” hours being completed at the business location. The position also requires at least two-weekend shifts per month.
Qualifications:- Must love working with children and families! We are looking for someone who can connect with our guests and create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. We need someone who can make sure processes are running smoothly.
- Strong communication skills. We are looking for someone who works well with others and can seamlessly integrate with our team, and communicate effectively with our guests.
- Creativity is a plus!
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must! We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve.
Pay + Benefits:
- Pay is hourly (30-40 hours per week) starting between $18 – $20 per hour.

Where the Wild Things Play is a new indoor Play Space for children and their caregivers! We are a boutique space that offers imaginative, active, and educational play for children eight and under. We have created this space with children AND caregivers in mind, and want caregivers to feel like our space is a welcome getaway/one that they look forward to. We offer open play, birthday parties, and special events. We are constantly seeking new ways to bring the community together, build new relationships within our community, and better serve our guests!
