Job DescriptionCarat is seeking a Manager of Audience and Insights, to support one of our largest clients. Reporting to the Manager, you will create clear reports from datasets of all sizes and provide analysis for our client. You will maintain communication and collaboration with our client and media teams to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. You will construct and provide accurate deliverables, provide accuracy and analysis on data collected.
The Manager, Audience & Insights plays a key day-to-day role in supporting our client through an audience-first, people-based marketing approach. They will contribute to product outputs across business dynamics, cultural + societal shifts, audience insights, media trends, creative influences, and tech innovations that inform strong media channel and partnership recommendations. They will join in the momentum of our team's hybrid offering combining the best of Strategy, Research & Insights and Data Science into an integrated product that advances our client's position as a best-in-class modern marketer that drives to optimal business performance. This candidate will be a critical role player in the strategic planning process, developing strong relationships with Planning leads, nurturing a visibility with clients, and stimulating collaboration potential with creative agencies and vendor partners alike. Maturing in equal parts art and science will be required for success, with verbal, written and visual communication command needing to be complemented with equal parts comfort in numbers, algorithms, and methodologies. The ideal candidate does not need to be able to answer every question that comes their way but should be able to leverage a certain 'consultant's acumen' to identify solutions, partners and collaborations that can drive towards an eventual answer. In the long term, we aspire to see Managers develop into more influential leaders of the team that eventually transition from being "given work" to "stimulating work" as part of ongoing thought leadership and indispensability to the brand teams and clients they are supporting every day.

- 3+ years' experience in strategy, research, and/or planning – CPG client experience a plus
- Examples of past deliverables covering business intelligence, target engineering, consumer insights, media strategies, vendor ideation, thought leadership
- Ability to work independently and ship projects from scoping to analysis to final delivery
- Experience in building 360-degree relationships – with key stakeholders, among peers and with mentees
- Growing command of syndicated resources - MRI-Simmons, GWI, Numerator / Competitrack, YouGov, Nielsen Ad Intel, eMarketer, Mintel, Forrester, Social Listening tools (Brandwatch, Buzzsumo, Unmetric)
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000-$92,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
