Manager Apprentice

Camco Manufacturing is looking for a Manager Apprenticeto learn to become an effective leader that can perform a variety of duties. These duties include, but are not limited to, providing support to our managers and employees, assisting with daily operational needs, and managing projects and tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be detailed and organized; and be able to multitask.

· This position requires 50 hours per week.

· Starting pay of $50,000 per year.

· Benefits packages and vacation accrual available after completing probationary period.

Expectations include:

• · Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.

· Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

· Prepare reports and analyze metrics to identify problems or opportunities and act accordingly.

· Regularly measure and evaluate current standards to develop and implement plans for continuous improvement.

· Set performance expectations and clear accountabilities for yourself and any subordinates.

· Monitor training processes to ensure quality of training.

· Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills in escalating concerns and resolving issues.

· Take on a leadership role and manage all tasks while upholding and championing Camco standards, processes, and procedures.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

· Ability to efficiently manage, schedule, and prioritize their time.

· Able to communicate effectively and professionally with various department managers and shop floor employees via phone, email, etc.

· A college degree or prior certifications are not necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.23 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
