Description
Position Summary:
The Managed Servicesand Data Center Support Specialist is responsible for managing & facilitating Data Center/Managed Service orders. This position will setup customer agreements and service tickets in Connectwise, update customer contracts as required, adjust pricing, provide vendor reports, and update customer agreements in Connectwise on a monthly basis for Data Center/Managed Services billing. The Data Center / Managed ServicesSupport Specialist will create Data Center and Managed Services quotes under the direction of the Cloud Services Manager and the VP of Engineering - SMB Practice. This position performs diversified work of a technical and/or administrative nature requiring judgment, independent thinking, and interpretation of facts to complete assignments.
Communicate and collaborate with Account Managers, ISRs, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing and Engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with the Data Center/Managed Services Team.
- Coordinate and facilitate user count for functions of the Data Center/Managed Services.
- Facilitate orders, renewals, and cancellations for all Data Center/Managed Services activities and customers.
- Facilitate SSL, UCC and Wild Card orders and renewals via Connectwise ticketing and Purchasing Service Board in collaboration with HBS sales, engineering and purchasing.
- Maintain and update, as required, all Data Center/Managed Services pricing and contract materials.
- Maintain Data Center/Managed Services expiration dates and collaborate with Renewals team in ensuring expiring agreements and/or licenses are addressed timely.
- Coordinate and provide vendor license reporting, timely.
- Ensure required customer contracts are in place.
- Update customer agreements in Connectwise on a monthly basis, aligned with A/R's billing cycle, for Data Center/Managed Services billing
- Work with departments to satisfy customer requests and provide an exceptional customer experience including but not limited to providing insight and direction when possible.
- Maintain documentation of internal department information.
- Track vendor costs associated with Data Center/Managed Services operations.
- Document and maintain job responsibilities and instruction on how to accomplish them including links to logins, screenshots, etc.
- Collaborate and develop positive relationships with Sales/ISR's, Finance/Purchasing and Engineering/Services.
- Provide input on process improvements and participate in the implementation process.
- Identify potential sales opportunities beyond the scope of opportunity presented and engage the VP of Engineering - SMB Practice or Cloud Services Manager with those insights.
- Provide Administrative Support for the VP of Engineering - SMB Practice.
- Assist in calendar scheduling and address calendar conflicts as they arise.
- Make travel arrangements as needed.
- Assist in expenses for VP of Engineering - SMB Practice
- Attend meetings as requested, take meeting notes, and if concerns arise, address them to the VP of Engineering - SMB Practice timely.
- Participate in weekly Team meetings and provide update on status of events occurring with the Data Center / Managed Services teams.
- Manage Internal Order process for organization
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
6+ months administrative experience
Preferred Experience:
- 1 - 3 years' experience in similar role: Accounting, Billing, Customer Service, inside sales, AP, AR
Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
- Associate degree
