Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 4x10, 8x5, 10 hours/Day, 8 hours/day (Both shifts available)

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 13 weeks with possible extensions

Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week

Salary: $2800-3000 weekly (No bar for experienced and qualified candidates)

Requirements:
Procedures: sterotactic biopsy (preferred); 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms (REQUIRED)
Equipment: Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX (preferred)
Professional Knowledge and Skills: Digital quality assurance procedures (preferred); isolation precautions, radiation safety, universal precautions/core measures (REQUIRED)
Charting System: EPIC (REQUIRED)
Additional Skills : Bone density (DEXA scan), breast ultrasound

Mammography Technologist responsibilities for this position include:

• Performs radiologic mammography exams per department protocol including advanced Mammography procedures like stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, drainages
• Perform the quality control functions related to mammography
• Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner.
• Perform high quality radiologic and mammography exams on incoming patients Assess patient’s medical condition, age, size and other related medical conditions to determine if patient is able to undergo mammography examination and to how best to obtain optimal results/images

Certificate & Licensure:

• ARRT (Mammography)
• BLS
• Covid & Flu Vaccination

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,000.00 per week
