Makeup Artist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist to join our team. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional makeup application services to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and enhance the natural beauty of our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Perform professional makeup application for clients, including bridal, special events, and photoshoots

- Assist clients with retail sales of makeup products and provide recommendations based on their needs

- Collaborate with photographers to create desired looks for photoshoots

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and desired outcomes

- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, following all health and safety guidelines

- Upsell additional services or products to clients to enhance their overall experience

- Stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products in the industry

- Utilize cosmetology skills to provide comprehensive beauty services to clients

Skills:

- Proven experience in professional makeup application

- Strong retail sales skills with the ability to recommend and sell makeup products

- Knowledge of photography makeup techniques for different lighting conditions

- Experience in eyelash extensions application is a plus

- Excellent communication skills to understand client preferences and provide appropriate recommendations

- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area according to health and safety guidelines

- Upselling skills to offer additional services or products to clients

- Possession of a cosmetology license is preferred but not required
