Summary: The maintenance is a position that may require a multitude of schedule requirements: from early morning, to late night, or weekends. The maintenance individual(s) will show up when and where needed. The main duties include maintaining functionality of office spaces by repairing, installing, or improving new or existing structures and hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Repairing any broken loose, or missing hardware in conference room spaces or offices.
- Repairing damage to dry wall, seals, doors, and office fixtures.
- Basic knowledge of hardware, equipment, and materials such as drywall, tile, fasteners, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects
- Provide basic maintenance for manage properties as assigned
- After-hours calls and site visits as necessary
- Proper care and respect of equipment including power tools, dollies, etc.
- Project management for time and labor costs in addition to flexibility to work around events and clinic site tours.
- Working carefully to ensure the safety of the employee and others when working with hazardous materials, chemicals, or electricals.
- Alerting staff on-site of any projects that may affect mobility, access, or safety.
- Managing inventory and notifying management of needed hardware, paints, light bulbs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned, sometimes requiring flexibility in work hours.
